Refinishing:
Give yours floors new life with a beautiful new finish. A refinished wood floor is beautiful, durable and easy to maintain. Wood is comfortable to walk on, making it ideal in kitchens, as well as family rooms and bedrooms. Today’s polyurethane finishes protect wood floors from heavy foot traffic and spills.  The natural visual warmth of wood is appealing and inviting.

Sanding:
Hardwood can be sanded down to the raw wood (removing 1/32” to 1/16” of the top layer of your hardwood floor) and refinished with sealing coats of polyurethane.  The sanding brings out the original beauty in the wood, while the polyurethane seals and protects the floor, providing a long lasting finish.

Custom Staining:
Various colors of stain can be applied to enhance the natural grain of the wood and compliment other wood furnishings and decor ideas within the home. We can use traditional colors from stain chart or a combination of stains to achieve your desired color.

Refinising Stairs:
While time consuming and requiring an exorbitant amount of handwork, stairs can definitely be refinished. In fact, a nicely finished set of steps is a great addition to any home.

Borders:
Borders outline and define the main area of the floor, usually in contrasting color.  As a general rule, an intricate border calls for a simple main field, and vice versa.  It also is important to keep the scale of the border in proportion to the scale of the room. A customized border can turn your floor into a custom work of art. You may select to add a perimeter with contrasting colors, or through you choice of textures and styles, create a visual link throughout your home.

Solid Hardwood:
Solid hardwood flooring reflects all the best attributes of the natural wood.  The unparalleled beauty of oak, cherry, hickory, maple or black walnut flooring offers timeless elegance that never goes out of style. Hardwood floors are a good investment. Installing hardwood flooring in your house is a long-term investment in your property that will hold its value, or even increase your homes resale value, exceeding the initial installation cost of the floors. Real estate agents and real estate investors have often use this strategy to increase their return on investment with houses they purchase, fix up, and resell for a profit. When you buy unfinished hardwood flooring you are allowed to create any look you want, you can match the finish of already existing hardwood flooring, and you have a greater uniformity in finish because it's sanded and sealed as one piece after installation.

Pre-finished Flooring:
The advantage of pre-finished flooring is finish. The finished wear layers of pre-finished hardwood floors are far superior to any finish that can be applied on raw/unfinished floor. Factory applied finish coats are more resistant to abrasion, and will not show swirl marks, hairs, dust, and other imperfections often associated with "from scratch" hardwood flooring.

Engineered Flooring:
Engineered wood floors offer dimensional stability on any level of the home. A real hardwood wear surface is combined with multiple layers of plywood, then assembled and glued in a cross-ply construction. Due to this multi-ply structure, engineered flooring is more stable than solid wood flooring and is less susceptible to shrinkage and expansion with changes in temperatures and humidity.

Laminate Flooring:
Compared to other flooring solutions, laminate flooring may offer the best value proposition over the longer term. Laminate floors are a floating floor system that are not designed to be secured to a sub-floor, but actually float to adjust to the temperature and humidity levels of the interior environment. They can be installed over an existing floor, sub-floor, or even concrete.

Unlike many companies who send out a representative under the guise that they will be supervising your project, but are never seen again, our foremen are on site from start to finish. This helps to reduce any possible communication problems caused by dealing with multiple personnel, and also provides you with a sense of comfort in having a constant contact available to you at all times.

We Show up on Time
Most tradesmen have the terrible reputation of being tardy and not seeming to care about it. We understand that your time is at a premium, which is why we stress punctuality as one of our highest priorities. However, situations do arise that are out of our control. Should something cause a delay in our scheduled start time, we will provide you with a courtesy call to alert you to our whereabouts and offer you the most accurate estimated time of arrival for your job or estimate.

We make sure your home doesn’t end up in a cloud of dust
The amount of dust created during sanding is probably one of the main concerns of our customers.  You’ve probably been more than a little worried about this when making the decision to install or refinish your floors.  That’s why we offer free professional cleaning service after any major installation or refinishing flooring job.

There are no hidden or extra charges
When you receive a written estimate from us, everything will be itemized for you as best we can, making your decision easier.  The price you are quoted is the price you pay.  The only exception to this is when you decide you’d like to make any changes.  In this situation, we’ll re-issue another estimate with adjusted price.
